For your major characters, i think a writer needs to be aware of how much description they need to give to the artist to have the most accurate illustration/design.

Here's what I will request from my clients later on for all their major cast info:

1. Character name

2. Age

3. Sex/gender

4. Height, weight, if it's female, cup sizes, waist, body type required. If it's a guy, tell me the built.

5. Personality

6. Clothing/armor?

7. Weapons and it's look, if it's sword, tell me the length

8. Hair, eye, skin colors. Hair style, hair length?

9 Race, is it human? Do they have different color blood?

10. Style preference and reference. If any.

It doesn't matter whether i am doing black and white or color, I need all these info.

Since I did shuch a poor job of describing the Samantha character I'm going to see if I can improve the way I see her with these guid lines.

Name:Samantha

Age:19

Gender: Female

Height: 5'6.8 feet(I think, not very good with heights :| ), cup size: A, Body type: athletic, strong, thin.

Personality: Self centered, nosy, upper class

Hair: Bright red hair that is VERY long, it stops at her thighs, straight, Eyes: Brown, Skin: White

Race: Human

She wears a long white dress that is backless and has a red rose thumb taked into the right shoulder strap.

I hope that helps a bit.
